I'm just coming in touch with CanaryMod and wanted to know if it is possible to generate a custom or a random world by coding? Furthermore would it be great if there is an option of creating a world by a minecraft worldsave (like they are in .minecraft/saves folder).

If I can recall correctly you can. Or, it was just the making of multiverses. There is a world hook that you can use so maybe some information about it will crop up.
